Vatican Museum - family tour
Posted in Events
To allow kids to become familiar with the world of art, and to enable families to visit the Museums calmly but in a fun way together with their children, the Vatican Museums propose their latest didactic initiative: the Family Tour.
Kids, accompanied by their parents, are invited to follow an itinerary designed expressly for them.
"Armed" with an audio-guide (MP3) and with a colour illustrated map, the young explorers will go on a hunt of the artistic treasures of the Vatican Museums.
A selection of virtual guides will lead them on their special tour: from the amiable guard of the Museums, Gregorio, to the angel of Melozzo da Forli, from an inhabitant of Ancient Egypt to the God Mercury, finishing with Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel.
For the entire tour, the Museums are the grounds of this fascinating and engaging treasure hunt, where there are mysteries to be solved and riddles to be deciphered. An experience for the entire family: it's all about learning... while having fun!
