The region stretches for 180 km along the Adriatic Coast. It offers sandy, gravel or rocky beaches from Gabicce Mare, Pesaro, without forgetting the most famous crystal-clear waters in Sanigallia. In South Ancona we find the suggestive natural park of Mount Conero (572 mt) that overlooks the Adriatic Sea. Here we find the famous Riviera del Conero (Conero Riviera) with its beaches and coves surrounded by rocks. Some of these can only be reached by boat, like the Due Sorelle beach (Two Sisters Beach) with the two spectacular rocks that emerge from its luminous waters.

The mountain lovers will find their place in the Monte Vettore (2478 meters), it’s the highest peak of the Sibillini Mountains.

The region offers another important must-see: the Frasassi Caves, which are one of the most important and interesting karst caves in Italy.

Don’t forget to include a stop during your trip in the various national and regional parks, like the Sibillini Mountains Park and the Gran Sasso Park.

Among its cities, set in the centre of Italy, we find Pesaro, Urbino, Macerata, Fermo and Ascoli Piceno.

This region, set between the mountains and the sea, is also rich in culture and poetry as it is the place where great poets and artists were born like Giacomo Leopardi, Raffaello, Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and Gioacchino Rossini.
